A Utilities company based in Leeds invited Peritus Health Management to support its annual Health and Safety Training Days to support their compliance.
Peritus’ specialists were brought in to deliver ‘toolbox talk’ training to staff on noise induced hearing loss prevention (amongst others).
Having selected a few of the audience to help ‘act’ the different parts of the ear and illustrate the impact of noise on their function, we then used a smoke gun to show noise movement and a fish tank and sink plug to demonstrate the need for good fitting hearing protection.
